Two Classics Unveil A New Look

Some designs begin in a sketchbook, but these started somewhere much closer to home, right along the shoreline. When we set out to refresh two of our classic Onomea bars, we wanted artwork that felt alive with the small, familiar moments that make Hawai‘i feel like Hawai‘i. Not grand landscapes. Not postcard clichés. Just the quiet, everyday magic we are lucky enough to witness here.

For our Passion Orange Guava bar, that moment arrived in the form of a Hawaiian monk seal and her pup resting together in the warm glow of sunset. It is a tender scene that feels both fleeting and timeless, and it captures the gentle rhythm of island life we love so much.

For Salted Macadamia Nut, we leaned into movement and joy. Two paddlers glide across calm blue water, steady and strong, heading toward the horizon. It is a snapshot of community, of tradition, and of the ocean that shapes so much of who we are.

They are small scenes, but they hold a world of meaning.

We wanted wrappers that felt like stories you could tuck into your beach bag, familiar and joyful and full of aloha. The chocolate inside has not changed. It is the same Hawai‘i grown craft you already know. Now the outside carries a little more of the place that inspires every bar we make.
